RIGHT NOW WE ARE LOSING 200 SPECIES A DAY WORLDWIDE
AMERICA NEEDS A PLAN
In my opinion the top three problems we need to fix are climate change, education, and democracy. I have a plan for all three.
Build the renewable energy grid. It's a 40 year project that will create half a million jobs in Texas, reduce the cost of energy for consumers, reduce pollution and CO2, reduce the cost of healthcare, and reduce the need for foreign oil. It's one project that will help the middle class.
Reinvent our education system and take it from the 18th century to the 21st century. When an American high school senior graduates, they should have four options: College, Trade School, Apprenticeship, or Service (Americorps, US Military). We must make our children ready for the world that is coming.
I have a three pronged approach to bring back Democracy: A. Legalize Ranked Choice Voting B. Make Voting Day a National Holiday C. Make all Federal and State Elections Publicly Financed.
After those three there are 21 more listed on my Thought Revolution page.
AND THIS QUESTIONNAIRE CAME TODAY FROM TEXANS FOR VOTER CHOICE
5. Any other facts relevant to their petition drive, decision to run, , etc.
Well it’s a fact that abrupt climate change is upon us and literally no one is talking about it. Dems, Repubs, The President, NASA, CNN, etc. The only organization to take it seriously is the US Military, which reported 4 years ago that Climate Change was the greatest threat to American security in the future, and they are preparing and planning for it. Another relevant fact is there are 200 species going extinct every day worldwide. That’s a factor of 100x increase in normal rates. It’s also a fact that my campaign has the answer: Build the Renewable Energy Grid.
THE GRID INCLUDES EVERY TOWN, EVERY BUILDING, AND EVERYBODY
There are many types of renewable energy sources available and we will need to deploy all of them in as many places as possible. Take a look at something that could be in every building in the future: Geothermal.
